Selling Historic Homes along the Hudson.
Thinking about moving to the Suburbs? This is a natural progression in which I have been fortunate to expand my business over the past two decades and I can assist in your search of some of the most desirable counties in New Jersey: Bergen County, Essex County, Morris County and Union County just to name a few. Families outgrow their homes in urban cities all the time. They sell and move to the suburbs but actually, while they are on their way out, another family is always on its way in. My husband and I moved to Bergen County in 2008. We settled in Old Tappan and it was the best decision that we made. There are many safe and clean suburban towns, with good schools, which are situated along commuter train and bus lines, and which offer many convenient ways to commute or travel into NYC. For us personally, we needed to be able to drive into the City and also along the Hudson River for my real estate business. These towns offer many amenities including shopping, parks, restaurants and cafes and a small town feel where neighbors do get to know each other. It is almost hard to imagine that most towns are less than 20 miles from Manhattan as well as Newark Airport. You have many farm to table restaurants, walking, hiking and bike trails, sports fields, and family-friendly activities as well as numerous high-quality schools. New Jersey “Gold Coast” cities such as Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken, Edgewater and Fort Lee offer a blend of both city and suburban lifestyles. With many clients choosing to move out of larger suburban homes as their children grow up and leave home, the decision to return closer to the City seems smart as the upkeep of a larger home is no longer necessary when it can be exchanged for an engaging neighborhood and lifestyle. And which brings with it easy access to the world-renowned museums, eateries and tourist attractions that New York offers as well as the bright lights of Broadway. Many have reached out and asked is it is a good time to buy? It sure is! Interest rates are lower than ever. Dream homes you may not have been able to afford in the past are now within reach. As mortgage rates are still hovering near the all-time-lows that were reached, now is the time for confidence. Making strong, well-informed decisions during this time will continue to keep you on track to finding the perfect home for you. If you are interested in speaking to one of our qualified Mortgage consultants, you can direct message, call or email at [email protected] As NYC-based buyers are looking to take advantage of larger condos in low-rise buildings and townhomes, the Gold Coast has a variety of appropriate, ready and available inventory. Each building offers a variety of outdoor spaces, large living quarters and an extremely easy commute to the City. Thus, people are starting to see this area as the ‘hybrid’ of city and suburbs. This blended lifestyle has developed over the past few years in Hudson County. As new inventory is created with both construction and re-sales, the Gold Coast is capable of meeting the desires of a wide range of buyers. The rich diversity that the Gold Coast provides serves as a dynamic backdrop for the Hudson County waterfront. Newly developed housing, along with offices, shopping, entertainment, and marinas, have enhanced the landscaped riverside spaces. As Jersey City is on track to becoming New Jersey’s largest city, Hudson County faces no shortage of developments, proving that you can truly have the best of both worlds.
