Memorial Day is a time when we look back and honor the American servicemen and women who gave their lives to secure the great nation we have today. This weekend also offers an opportunity to look ahead, at a turning point in the pandemic, when lockdowns are giving way to a process of reopening. The beginning of a new month and summer season ahead is something I think we have all looked forward to.
No one is quite certain what the post-pandemic world will look like, though we try to remain optimistic as ever. Fortunately, I have been home, safe and healthy with my family and that is something I am so very grateful for. One thing seems for sure: we will live and appreciate our lives, be thankful for even the simple things, treasure the value in being home, eating meals together and being more present with our families. Creating a home that you absolutely LOVE, enjoy, make memories in is and will continue to be as important, if not more so now. As we continue to operate by leveraging technology to ensure full support for our clients, we support social distancing and our support teams are working from home as good health in our community remains TOP priority. I want to assure you that my extensive knowledge in various real estate markets, with 17-plus years of experience, means I can and will be happy to continue to access your present and future real estate needs – whether purchase, sale, rental or relocation. Whether you are looking to move out of the City into a more peaceful tranquil suburban environment and or down (or up) size, my team is licensed in both NYC and NJ. In fact, we cover one of the largest territories in the Tri-State area, including New Jersey, NYC, Connecticut. Things definitely have quieted down over the past few months however nothing remains and we understand that housing is an essential need. Stay safe and healthy, be well and say a prayer for all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of others. As always, I appreciate your continued support, and look forward to seeing you all soon. The least favorite but necessary is cleaning out the outdoor garbage cans.
It's a hot, sunny weekend and a great time to clean them…here is the quick list/method.
OPTIONAL, depending on what you have at home.
Wear gloves! Mix the ingredients in a cleaning bucket and pour into the trash container. Let sit for 15 minutes, then using a long handled scrub brush, scrub the insides of the can. Rinse with the hose, and turn it upside down in order to let all the water drain out of it. Turn the garbage bin back around so that it is right-side up, and let it dry in the sun all day. Finally….spray the inside of the garbage bin thoroughly with a disinfectant. Put the trash bin in a cooler, or shady area or anywhere other than inside the garage. Stay healthy and Sane !! ;-) Nancy Realtor® | President, The Bozzi Group Berkshire Hathaway Hudson River Properties 201-320-8744 | 201-216-0909 |
