Have you noticed how your taste changes with time? Ten years ago, I was completely drawn to the darker woods, warm tones and that décor carried with me. While it is certainly beautiful, elegant and timeless my taste changed. I envisioned a more modern, brighter space- created a timeline and plan to transform this amazing space. For the first time, I will share some behind the scenes from my Kitchen renovation in 2019. It was a labor of love and literally replaced everything except the custom kitchen cabinetry. I worked with a profession kitchen cabinetry company that came in removed all the doors, took them to their warehouse to sand refinish & spray. The island and actual cabinetry was done in house. NEW:

Hello & Happy Monday! I am super excited to share some great news with you. I decided to expand my reach into Home Renovation and Styling, which fit nicely with my work experiences and expertise. I believe that most everyone is drawn to a particular room in their home and for me, it was the Kitchen: the heart of our home and where much of our family time is spent preparing meals, doing homework, playing games, talking and discussing life, and just hanging out with my husband, our children and our families to make memories that last a lifetime.... Many clients, colleagues and friends have heard me speak about some of my renovation projects on which I have worked over the past few years and I want to share those things with you. Personally, investing time into our home has been extremely therapeutic for me and I have truly enjoyed the creative end of the business, beyond purchases and sales. Feeling extremely fortunate to be able to incorporate these ideas both personally and professionally and will be using this platform to share with you some of my own designs, creations, home improvements, styled rooms, renovations, organizational tips and new trends in the real estate industry. Comfort, functionality, safety and organization are my top priorities when creating a new space. I look forward to meeting with you, collaborating with you working with you and being fulfilled with you ……. Your garden is a perfect space to increase your square footage while simultaneously offering another area to gather with friends and family. I am currently doing my own research, pricing out TREX, labor cost and looking into some new improvements in my own yard for this summer. Building a patio or deck can add value to your home and enhance its enjoyability. Relax in the sun, cozy up to a fire pit, host a cookout, or brunch under your favorite tree – the possibilities are endless. And while patios and decks are often used interchangeably, they’re far from the same thing. Which begs the question – deck or patio: which is better? You can certainly create multiple areas which tie in nicely with one another. One thing to keep in mind is that wooden decks typically require more upkeep – power washing, staining, and sealing. Wooden decks are more susceptible to weather damage, fading and rot over time, if not properly treated. In any case, a patio or deck can both be a valuable investment in your home, as well as offer you countless opportunities to entertain, socialize – or just relax. When the time comes to upgrade your outdoor living space, do a little homework beforehand to make an informed decision that you – and your garden – will love for years to come! Nancy A.
